Legal Tech Talk 2025 – London Grateful to have attended this year’s #legaltechtalk in London — thanks to Marsden for the invitation. Many thought-provoking sessions particularly on how legal teams are adapting (or not!) to the accelerating shift to AI and automation. The transformation is no longer theoretical — it’s already reshaping how we deliver legal services. Highlights included: -AI Bias: Ensuring Fairness in a Technological Age – expertly facilitated by Lindsay Healy - Founder Aria Grace Law CIC (Aria Grace Law CIC) exploring the hidden risks in AI decision-making. -The X Factor of Legal Transformation – an honest look at why some legal functions succeed in modernising and others stall. -Beyond the Hype: GenAI’s Real Impact – practical insights into what’s actually being adopted and what’s still aspirational. -Is Your Legal Team Falling Behind the Curve? – a timely challenge for in-house teams to assess their own digital maturity. -Big Tech’s Role in Expanding Access to Justice – another sharp panel from Lindsey Healy, reminding us that innovation must serve all, not just the few. -Geopolitical and Technological Turmoil: Decoding Future Enterprise Risk – great to hear Bill Deckelman again sharing a global GC view on risk and resilience (and a nice moment to reconnect with my former DXC boss!). The event also gave me a chance to explore some of the latest legal tech tools — it’s clear the move toward AI-driven platforms is becoming mainstream faster than many expected.
